My name is Marcos Pinto, I am a teacher and a professional in the area of the Graphical Arts as an ilustrator. I am trilingual(on English, French and Spanish)e with more than 25 years of experience and works(in Illustration for Literature, Cartoon and Comics( a.k.a. : "História em Quadrinhos" ), all dedicated to children and young public - either for works published in Brazil, and also divulged overseas along with my work as teacher for children and adolescents in the area of the Graphical Arts, since 1984 - therefore, with more than twenty-one years of experience. Recently, I drew a primer on security for the Transit dedicated to the children, for Foundation Thiago de Moraes Gonzaga, a licensed work under their own characters. Also I have works of mine illustrating "Boletim da Educação", a special suplement for "Correio do Povo" newspaper( from my own city ). Between 2002 to 2004, I created and I executed works with a series of personages, later licensed for Peterlongo juices and drinks, of which I mention myself below in my professional resume. In fact, Those same characters had been also licensed for other products and services( either for commercial or institutional aimings ). Such as: - Peterlongo - Shopping( a mall )Praia de Belas - Empresa Pública de Transporte and Circulação(EPTC) ... Among others. I was contracted by some Cultural Entities in this e in other States, giving Courses and Workshops related, as well as I organized and made avaible for public onsultation the first all-dedicated General Library dedicated to Comics in this State of my country - with more than two a thousand volumes, as well as a library of reference with more than five thousand works, also dedicated ones to the related courses named below. I had uninterrupted participation during the International Book Fair of Porto Alegre, by the years of 1991 to 2004, giving to Workshops and Activities parallel to the Courses that I teached by then, either in the State Museum of Art of, or in the State Museum of Social Communications or my State. I also participated of diverse events(as related in my resume in annex some States), always as professor and lecturer. I am experienced in many programs on the Windows OS, such as Microsoft Office(Word and Excel) and alike, as Linux Open Office; I have experience in building and edit my websites(using Microsoft Frontpage e Macromedia Dreamweaver), as well as I also work with graphical programs, such as Corel Draw and Photoshop.
